How much is composite bonding?
Composite bonding is priced at £350 per tooth. For the most natural-looking results, we usually treat 4, 6 or 8 teeth together. The cost is not just for the service itself, but for the expertise of the dentist carrying out the treatment. Composite bonding relies heavily on attention to detail, which is why all of our dentists have completed advanced training specifically in bonding techniques.

With good care, composite bonding typically lasts 5–7 years. It may need occasional polishing or touch-ups over time, but many of our patients enjoy years of confident smiles without needing to redo their treatment. Our proprietary technique is stain and fracture-resistant, offering a durable composite finish that is only available at The Smile Designers.
What is a composite veneer?
A composite veneer is made from the same tooth-coloured resin used in bonding, but applied across the full surface of the tooth rather than just edges or small areas. It’s a more subtle, less invasive alternative to porcelain veneers and a popular choice in our Sheffield composite bonding clinic.
Will composite veneers work for my teeth?
Composite bonding works best on teeth that are already fairly well aligned. If your teeth are more crowded or uneven, we might recommend alignment first (e.g. Invisalign), then finish with bonding to give you the best aesthetic outcome. We’ll talk through the right approach during your consultation.
Can you whiten composite veneers?
Whitening and composite often go hand in hand. We usually recommend whitening your natural teeth before bonding; that way, we can match the composite to your brighter shade. It is possible to whiten your teeth after getting composite veneers. Although the composite itself won’t change colour, your other teeth will make your overall smile appear whiter.
Can’t I get this done cheaper in Turkey?
The composite bonding you see in Turkey is often done with cheaper materials, meaning it is weaker and will fracture much more often. Many private dentists in Sheffield will not work on poor-quality Turkey veneers, meaning you’ll have to visit the original clinic for touch-ups. The high risk of damage means composite bonding in Turkey is often more expensive in the long run. If you’re serious about getting a stunning smile, it’s worth paying more upfront to get the best possible outcome.
